What Do You See? Jeremiah 1: 11-19

God asks Jeremiah, “What Do You See?” as God is sharing God’s words with him. While God was showing and telling Jeremiah about the disaster about to befall Judah, during Advent maybe we ask ourselves the question a little differently. Maybe we ask, “What is it I see in the Christ-child?”


What do we see in Jesus? Do we see the hope of a world transformed by love? Do we see lives made clean through the cross? Do we see Jesus as savior to the world? Do we look at the child in the “manger” and one who will show us the way to God?
